Pakistan Salary & Payslip Tools — Tax Year 2027

Two tools built around one observation: in Pakistan, the payslip problem is rarely the arithmetic — it is which rules were applied. These tools compute from the current FBR table, print the source on every result, and — when your payslip disagrees — work out which known rule variant explains it.

The two facts that explain most confusion: (1) the salaried slabs changed again in the Finance Act 2026 — a calculator or payroll setup using last year's table will deduct the wrong tax all year; (2) EOBI is 1% of the minimum wage (Rs 407 or Rs 370), never 1% of your own salary — on a Rs 200,000 salary, the wrong formula prints Rs 2,000, roughly five times too much.

How these tools keep their numbers honest

The slab table is not typed into the calculator's code. It lives in a versioned rule file transcribed from FBR Circular No. 02 of 2026-27, carrying its source, effective date, and last-verified date. The slab reference page is rendered from that same file, so the page and the calculator cannot quietly disagree — the exact failure we found in more than one incumbent's site, where the guide said one rate and the calculator used another. When the next Finance Act changes the table, the file, the tests, and the pages change together; the Methodology page publishes the verification calendar that schedules that work.

Common questions

Which rules do these tools use?

The salaried slab table substituted by the Finance Act 2026, as published in FBR Circular No. 02 of 2026-27 (section 7) — Tax Year 2027. EOBI is 1% of the applicable minimum wage, shown on both live bases (Rs 40,700 → Rs 407 and Rs 37,000 → Rs 370) because employers genuinely use both. Every table carries its source and the date it was last verified, all published on the Methodology page.

Why do other calculators give me a different tax figure?

Usually because their slab table is from an older tax year — the salaried rates changed in both the Finance Act 2025 and the Finance Act 2026, and at least one widely shared table still circulating is two changes old. The Payslip Checker on this site tests your actual payslip against the current table and the stale ones, and shows you which table your figure matches.

Is my salary data uploaded anywhere?

No. Every calculation runs entirely in your browser. Nothing you type is sent, stored, or logged — close the tab and no trace remains.
